8.   Brief History of the Central Council

     The tiny mustard seed of the society sown on the 13th of February 1965 in the Diocese has grown to the mighty tree with its branches of 96  conferences having the total active members of 717 and auxiliary members of 870, divided into 9 Particular Councils covering all the parishes and mission stations of the diocese. We have celebrated the Silver Jubilee in 1990.
