INAUGURATION OF SRIKAKULAM CENTRAL COUNCIL

   A new central council- Srikakulam Central Council- was inaugurated on 28.05.2009. The new central council was  formally inaugurated by Most. Rev. Addagatla Innayya, Bishop of Srikakulam Diocese. Bro. K. Sundarsanam the first president of the central council assumed charged after the homily. Bro. V.M.J. Balaswamy, the N.C. President administered the oath of office to the president.

"Desvena" a quarterly Vincentian newsletter (in Telugu) was also released on the occasion. Educational scholarship to 29 students were distributed. In the meeting that followed, the new office bearers took office. Bro. V.M.J.Balaswamy the national president distributed aggregation certificates to various conferences this was followed by the first meeting of the conference.

Rev. Fr. Puspa Prasad, spiritual Advisor, Rev. Fr. Christopher, Bro. Kirupanandam, National Secretary, Bro. V. Rajeswara Rao, National Joint secretary, Bro. Kota Jayaraju, Coordinator, Andra Region and other office bearers and members participated.
